I stayed at the Sheraton Grand Rapids Airport Hotel from August 3β7 2026 while attending a work conference. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have experienced. The airport shuttle was convenient and check-in was easy, but my room was unacceptable. There was hair on the unswept bathroom floor, the drinking glasses were visibly dirty, the air vents were caked with dust, and most disturbing, the sheets were dirty and there appeared to be menstrual blood on the mattress cover. I was too disgusted by the bedding to think about taking a photo, but I did photograph the dirty glasses and dust-covered vents and am attaching those photos. I contacted the front desk twice and waited approximately 90 minutes for help. No one came. I finally left my room and happened to encounter a housekeeper named Val in the hallway. She had not been informed of the situation but immediately stepped in, cleaned the bathroom, stripped the bed, wiped down the heavily dust-covered headboard, and helped ensure the bedding was replaced. Val was kind, professional, and the only person who truly took ownership of the situation. She deserves recognition. Later, a front desk emplo

Weβve stayed at this Sheraton every time we come to Grand Rapids. Our first stay, back in 2023, was a great experience. Unfortunately, every stay since then has been disappointing. The biggest issue is the cleanliness. The housekeeping staff seems to clean the rooms just enough to get by. Weβve found dust, crumbs, stains on the walls, and other signs that the rooms arenβt being thoroughly cleaned. Weβve brought these issues to the staff before and were moved to a better room, but on our next visit, we experienced the same problems all over again. At this point, it seems to be a consistent issue rather than an isolated one. I donβt leave my own clean home to stay in a hotel thatβs only partially cleaned while paying premium hotel rates. Guests should receive a room thatβs cleaned with care and attention to detailβ¦ the same standard youβd expect if the owner of the hotel or a celebrity were checking in. The updated furniture and renovations help the appearance, but they donβt make up for poor housekeeping. If those cosmetic updates werenβt there, the property would feel much more like a motel than a Sheraton. I will say the bar is one of the highlights. The staff there has always

Baseball tournament. Sane as every year. Tried out the Sheraton this year and am royally disappointed. Rooms are tiny. No pullouts, desks, or microwaves and the A/C is useless with more than 2 people in the room. The small refrigerators donβt get cold. Not a good place for families at all. No breakfast. Bar closes early. Pool area was full of dirty towels. This place is better for single travelers only. Not a great value. There are nicer, less expensive hotels right next to here with more amenities, including breakfast, larger rooms and overall better experiences.

Stayed here for one night as my husband had surgery and it was an amazing experience! Everyone is so friendly the atmosphere is calm. Everyone dressed super fancy which I thought was super cool coming from a super small town. I wish breakfast was included but it was delicious non the less! Plus a built in Starbucks was also nice! Id recommend to anyone! Best hotel ive ever stayed at!
